It is no coincidence that the four partners and founding members of Skagit Championship Sports come from an umpiring background. It was this experience and the love of the game that led them all to advanced umpiring skills and to becoming tournament directors. This ultimately led to the desire to host a National Championship tournament. All four met while members of The Skagit Valley (WA) Softball Umpires Association.
